Is Pickleball Louder Than Tennis?

|

No pickleball is not louder than tennis.

The reason for this is that pickleball is played with a softer ball than tennis. The softer ball doesn’t make as much noise when it hits the paddle so the overall sound of the game is lower.

That said there are a few things that you can do to make pickleball a little bit louder. First you can try using a harder paddle. Harder paddles will make a louder sound when they hit the ball.

Second you can try using a different type of ball. Some balls like tennis balls are designed to be hit hard and make a lot of noise.

Other balls like pickleballs are designed to be hit softly and make less noise.

Third you can try playing in a room with hard surfaces. Hard surfaces will reflect the sound of the ball making it louder.

Finally you can try using a microphone. Microphones can pick up the sound of the ball and amplify it making it louder.

So there are a few things that you can do to make pickleball louder. But overall pickleball is not louder than tennis.
